Return & Refund policy

Shipping Options

We offer free shipping to GLS parcel shops in Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands) for all orders above DKK 499. Otherwise, you can choose from the following options:

GLS Parcel Shop: DKK 40
GLS Home Delivery: DKK 61
Pick-up in store: Free

We ship orders every Wednesday. Orders placed before 8:00 AM on a shipping day will be sent the same day, unless otherwise noted.

Collecting Your Package

It is your responsibility to collect your package within the timeframe specified by GLS. If the package is not collected within 10–14 days, it will automatically be returned to us.

Please note: failing to collect your package does not constitute a valid withdrawal. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us explicitly at info@labanchina.dk before or at the time of non-collection.

If a package is returned to us due to non-collection, you will be charged the direct return shipping costs. If you would like the package resent, a new shipping fee will apply.

When collecting your package, please check that the packaging is intact. If you have any doubts, you may open the package at the point of pickup to inspect for damage. If the item is damaged, refuse delivery and contact us immediately with a photo. If you discover damage after arriving home, please photograph the item in its packaging and send the photos to info@labanchina.dk.

Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 30 days without giving any reason. This exceeds the statutory minimum of 14 days required by Danish law. The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day you receive your item. If you have ordered multiple items delivered separately, the period begins when you receive the final item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly before the withdrawal period expires. You can do this by: sending an email to info@labanchina.dk or by using the standard withdrawal form below.

Your notification must be sent before the 30-day period expires.
You cannot withdraw from a purchase simply by refusing delivery without notifying us.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery nor gift cards, as these are considered digital vouchers and are exempt from the right of withdrawal once they have been issued and delivered to you by email

Returning Your Item

Once you have notified us of your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the item to us.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and ensuring the item is adequately packaged and protected during transit

We recommend keeping proof of postage. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

We only accept parcels sent directly to this address via GLS business delivery. You are also welcome to return items in person during our opening hours.

Partial Returns

You may return one or more items from a single order. Please note that standard shipping costs will only be refunded if you return the entire order. If you return only part of an order, the original shipping fee will not be refunded.

Condition of Returned Items

We ask that you handle the item with care. You may inspect and try the item in the same way you would in a physical store, but it should not be used beyond this.

If the item has decreased in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and function, we may deduct an amount from your refund.
This applies, for example, if:
- A garment has been worn or washed
- Tags or labels have been removed
- The item shows signs of use

We recommend returning items in their original packaging. If the original packaging is missing or damaged, this may also affect the value of the item.

Refunds

Once we have received your notice of withdrawal, we will refund your payment no later than 14 days from the date we receive the returned item or proof that it has been sent.

We will refund:
- The full price of the item
- Standard delivery costs up to the price of our cheapest shipping option (GLS Parcel Shop, DKK 40)

We will not refund any additional costs incurred if you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard option. If the returned item has decreased in value, we will deduct the amount you are liable for before issuing the refund.

Refunds are issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed. We do not charge any fees for processing refunds.

We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or until you have provided documentation that the item has been returned.

Gift Cards

We sell gift cards exclusively online. Gift cards are delivered digitally by email after purchase.

Please note the following:
- Gift cards are non-refundable. As gift cards are digital vouchers delivered electronically, they are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Danish consumer law once they have been issued and delivered.
- Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Danish law (Aftalelovens § 47).
- Gift cards can be used for purchases at labanchina.dk or in our physical store.
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
- If a purchase exceeds the value of the gift card, the remaining balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.
